Soon the Methodist Hospital merged with Park Nicollet Clinic and renamed the foundation to The Park Nicollet Foundation. Within 10 years of fundraising the foundation was awarded $1.5 million dollars in grants for research, education, programs, and equipment for the hospital. After the need for services grew a group of hospital trustees, medical staff, women’s auxiliary members and community leaders came together to begin fundraising efforts.
